A Structured Approach to Solving Complex Industrial Challenges

Every organization faces unique operational challenges — but successful outcomes are consistently built on the same underlying methodology.

Terra360™ framework

Five phases. One measurable outcome.

The sequence is fixed; the depth of each phase is scaled to the size and risk of the engagement.

Why a framework

Structure is what makes the outcome repeatable

A consistent methodology is not bureaucracy. It is what prevents the two failure modes that account for most disappointing industrial projects: solving the wrong problem well, and solving the right problem on evidence too thin to trust.

Terra360™ forces both risks into the open early. The Discover and Assess phases exist specifically to test whether the stated problem is the real one, and whether the data available can actually support the decision being contemplated. It is not unusual for those two phases to redirect an engagement entirely — which is far cheaper than discovering the same thing after procurement.

The framework is deliberately scale-independent. A three-week advisory assessment moves through the same five phases as a multi-site transformation programme; what changes is depth, governance and duration, not the logic.

Inside each phase

What the work actually looks like

The framework in practice — what we do, who we do it with, and what you receive at the end of each stage.

01

Discover — Understand the Challenge

We spend time with the people who run the operation before forming any view. Workshops with stakeholders, walkdowns on site, and a hard look at what leadership is actually trying to achieve — which is not always what the brief says. The phase closes with a scope and a set of KPIs that everyone has agreed define success.

02

Assess — Evaluate the Current State

We collect and validate operational data, map the process as it genuinely runs, benchmark current performance and identify the technical and commercial risks. Data validation matters here more than anything else: an analysis built on unverified records is a confident answer to an unknown question.

03

Design — Develop the Right Solution

With the current state established, we develop and test options — engineering design, simulation and modelling, Digital Twin development where it earns its place, and scenario analysis to compare alternatives under identical assumptions. You receive technical recommendations with the reasoning and the uncertainty both visible.

04

Deliver — Implement with Confidence

We support procurement, coordinate vendors, manage integration with existing systems and stay through commissioning. Change management runs alongside, because a technically correct solution that the operating teams were not prepared for will underperform regardless of how well it was specified.

05

Optimize — Drive Continuous Improvement

After go-live we monitor the KPIs agreed in phase one, run structured performance reviews and keep tuning. Knowledge transfer is explicit: your teams should be able to sustain and extend the result without us. That is the point at which an engagement has genuinely succeeded.

Our delivery principles

Built Around Engineering Excellence

Four commitments that hold regardless of the phase, the sector or the size of the engagement.

Evidence-Based Decisions

Every recommendation is supported by engineering analysis and operational data, with the assumptions stated openly.

Collaborative Delivery

We work in alignment with your business priorities and alongside your teams, not at arm's length from them.

Technology-Neutral Approach

Selection based on operational suitability and long-term value — never on a commercial relationship with a vendor.

Outcome-Focused Execution

Measured by operational improvement and return on investment, against targets set before the work began.

Project delivery

Designed to Scale with Your Needs

The same framework, applied at three very different scales of commitment.

01

Advisory Engagements

Focused assessments and feasibility studies within a clearly defined scope — typically answering one specific question that a decision is waiting on.

  • Defined scope and deliverable
  • Short, predictable duration
  • Independent technical opinion
02

Technology Projects

End-to-end support from solution evaluation through procurement to integration — where the technology decision and its delivery are treated as one continuous piece of work.

  • Vendor evaluation and selection
  • Procurement and contract support
  • Integration and commissioning
03

Enterprise Transformation

Multi-phase initiatives delivered through structured governance, sequenced so that early phases fund and de-risk the later ones.

  • Phased roadmap and governance
  • Multi-site and multi-vendor coordination
  • Benefits tracking across phases
Collaboration

Working with you throughout the journey

Industrial improvement crosses organizational boundaries by definition. A change that improves plant throughput has consequences for maintenance, procurement and logistics — so the people responsible for those areas need to be in the room.

We deliberately structure engagements to involve every group with a stake in the outcome, at the point where their input actually changes the answer rather than after the fact. It slows the early phases slightly and saves considerably more later.
